ED Nurse Opportunity At Inova Loudoun Hospital

Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking an experienced ED Nurse to support our team! Eligible nurses can earn sign on and relocation bonuses.

This position is full time mid shift (1pm-1am), 3-12 hour shifts and has weekend and call rotation.

The Inova Virts Miller Family Emergency and Trauma Center is a full-service emergency department for adults at Inova Loudoun Hospital. It is a Joint Commission-certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center and an integral part of the trauma program at Inova Loudoun Hospital – Loudoun County's only designated trauma center.

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
• Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
• Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
• Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: Requires a minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• License: Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
• Certification: BLS from AHA for Healthcare Provider certification required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others. Proficient computer skills required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer (2) plus years ED RN experience.
