Responsibilities include:Compounding and dispensing drugs and medicines prescribed by physicians or other authorized medical personnel.Comply with all local, state and federal accrediting rules and regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy.Make substitutions of comparable drugs for drugs with trade names, as appropriate.Manufacture pharmaceutical preparations as needed.Prepare solutions and sterile vehicles.Respond to inquiries concerning drug contents, dosages, regimen reviews, storage and disposal.Monitor drug therapies for drug interactions, allergies and contraindications.Monitor stocks of drugs and chemicals.Inventory drugs, medications and supplies as required.Maintain supplies and the security of drugs.Provide consultations on the use and care of prescription drugs and medicines with patients.Maintain records and prepare reports on all narcotics dispensed.Provide technical assistance to providers of healthcare in a variety of settings.Assist in the training of new Pharmacists.Oversee the work of Pharmacist.Maintain records and prepare reports and correspondence related to the work.Completes all necessary managerial tasks for direct reports including hiring, training, addressing performance issues, developing team goals and objectives, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and strategic planning.Schedule:Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pmMust be willing to participate in an on-call rotation, once every 3 weeksRequirements:Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D), or R.Ph. with appropriate clinical experienceApplicable active state licensureParenteral Certification - ALBOP-approved parenteral training programPost graduate trainingAdditional licensure may be required according to stateMinimum 7 years Pharmacist experience, preferably direct compoundingEfficiency in CPR +/Care Tend is desiredExcellent customer service skillsProficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and OutlookAbout Us: Soleo Health is an innovative national provider of complex specialty pharmacy and infusion services, administered in the home or at alternate sites of care.
