SIMPLI FI CLINICAL INTERVIEWS W/ MANAGER APPROVAL 
UNIT: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

EPIC exp req
Active NC/Compact license.
Certs Required: ACLS, BLS. 
Experience Required: 1 year CVICU. Post cardiac assessment, know how to care for circulatory support (ISBP, IMPELLA, LVAD, ECMO), titration of vasoactive and antiarrhythmic medication, interpretation of cardiac waveforms, and hemodynamic monitoring.

floating: Yes: within other critical care departments (Ratios: PCU 1:3, MS 1:4)

no call, EOW. Will accept first time travelers with CVICU exp.

RN: 1:2

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
Surgical and Medical Cardiac Critical Care unit, that cares for patients suffering cardiovascular support. Common seen diagnosis Post operations for CABG, valve replacement/ repair, Impella, IABP management, thoracic aortic aneurysms etc.
