Reporting The Aircraft Avionics Technician reports directly to the Lead A&P Technician (Avionics). Ensure work environment is safe and clean. Promote company values, vision, and mission. Demonstrated capability and competency in field of expertise. Good oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization. Possesses strong fundamental aircraft knowledge. Builds quality capability and responsiveness for Avmax. Carry out maintenance repairs on customer and company aircraft under the supervision of a qualified technician or Lead A&P Technician. Completely and accurately sign off work in progress documentation and work cards for work accomplished. Report unserviceable equipment to assigned Lead A&P Technician and/or delegate. Notify Lead A&P Technician of all defects discovered during maintenance. Attend training courses as directed by company management. Qualifications Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization. A\&P Certified is preferred, but not required. Experience 3 - 5 years of experience in the field. Physical Demands Occasionally lift 50 pounds Bend Stoop Kneel Crawl Climb ladders Stand for extended periods of time Work at heights of greater than 10 feet utilizing fall restraint equipment as necessary.
