Spanish School Based Clinician

Responsibilities SPANISH SCHOOL BASED CLINICIAN Arbour Counseling Services is excited to offer Per Diem, Part Time, and Full Time Fee for Service School Based opportunities for Spanish/English speaking Licensed Clinicians or Master's Level Clinicians working towards their licensure in Allston, MA. School Based Clinicians work in elementary, middle, and high schools delivering mental health services to children with a variety of needs including trauma, anxiety, and depression. School Based Clinicians work closely with school personnel, other outside treatment providers, and families to provide a quality continuum of care. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to earn supplemental income by working 12 to 32 hours per week across multiple Boston schools. Clinicians may have optional summer work available. Pay: $33.00-$44.00/hour. Schedule/Location: Per Diem, Part Time, Full Time, In-Person. What We Offer Electronic Health Record (EHR) System Weekly Licensure Supervision Free CEU’s Employee Referral Bonus Program Company Outings Competitive Compensation Internal Advancement Opportunities ~ Leadership & Management training Flexible Schedule Essential Responsibilities Assess clients or family's needs and eligibility for services Provide individual, family and group therapy sessions in accordance with assigned client needs Support clients through collaboration with client’s family, school, other medical service providers, state agencies, other mental health services (including crisis services), and other community agencies and resources Provide case management, referrals, and treatment planning for assigned clients Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the agency, community and referral sources Qualifications Fluent in Spanish and English Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related Mental Health field from an accredited college or university License eligible preferred (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT) Need to have completed an Internship during Masters Program to obtain 45 credits CANS Certification preferred (also able to obtain after hiring if needed) Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds Excellent time management skills to maintain appointments and timely record keeping Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation EEO Statement All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
