Kings Trail Animal Hospital is seeking a Lead Veterinary Technician to join our growing team! This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician looking to step into a leadership role within a supportive, collaborative environment.

In this role, you’ll help lead and support our veterinary assistant/technician team while also assisting with inpatient and outpatient care, exam room support, anesthesia monitoring, and surgical procedures. Leadership responsibilities include helping delegate daily workflow, maintaining medical and safety standards, and mentoring and coaching team members.

We’re looking for someone with strong technical skills, emotional intelligence, excellent communication, and a passion for creating a positive team culture.

Schedule:

• Full-Time position
• Flexible scheduling options
• Availability needed Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $22-25 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus package: $500-$2,000 based on experience and licensure
• CE allowance: Up to $1,000 annually based on licensure

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
• Active and good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Florida**
• Passion for mentoring and developing team members
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Commitment to high-quality patient care
• Experience with:
  • Anesthesia induction and monitoring
  • Dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs
  • IV catheter placement and IV/IM injections
  • Cystocentesis
  • Microscopic evaluation
