PLC Programmer

Our client is looking hiring a Controls Engineer that will contribute to the automation team on projects. Asuccessful candidate will possess the ability to complete programming efforts assigned, keep track of details specific to their part of the project and help to ensure successful project completion and delivery of a robust system to a satisfied customer.

Requirements:

• A understanding of Industrial Automation and Control Systems, i.e. PLC, DCS, HMI, across multiple platforms.
• Willingness to learn new platforms and new technologies and be hands on with equipment
• Functions include providing Process Control Engineering, included but not limited to: specification, engineering, configuration and startup for projects implementing automation control systems for industrial clients including OEM's, end users, and EPC firms across a range of industries.
• Ability to read P&IDs and electrical drawings.
• ability to use Fluke volt meter and other meauring tools
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
• Experience programming online and uploading / downloading running process controls systems.
• Technical writing skills are required to assist in completing project documentation and project reports.
• Ability to follow and perform work in accordance with the company policies and procedures.

Experience Required:

• The desired candidate will possess a degree such as a Bachelors in a technical field or Associates in Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET)
• 2-5 years in an automation programming, hands on working experience with measuring tools, fluke, volt meters, etc.
