Certified Surgical Technologist - Cardiac Surgery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days: 4x10s, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to work in the cardiovascular operating room. The selected candidate will assist surgeons by preparing the surgical field, passing instruments and supplies during surgeries, and maintaining a sterile environment, ensuring the smooth flow of procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the surgical field and assist in cardiac and thoracic surgery cases.
• Pass instruments and supplies during surgery and maintain a sterile environment.
• Assist in turning over operating room rooms to keep surgical cases flowing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• CST Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVOR setting.
• Strong cardiac surgery skills and thoracic daVinci experience.
