Anew Treatment Center is a residential behavioral health program serving adults with complex mental health and co-occurring disorders. Our Behavioral Health Technicians, known internally as Client Support Staff (CSS), are an important part of the treatment team and have meaningful, day-to-day involvement with our clients.

This is an active, hands-on role. You will spend your shift engaging with clients, reinforcing treatment and program expectations, observing and communicating changes in client presentation, providing transportation and support in the community, completing documentation, and working closely with clinical and residential team members.

Who We?re Looking For

We?re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and can bring both compassion and structure to a behavioral health environment. You are dependable, communicate well with others, maintain healthy boundaries, and understand the importance of working together as a team.

You don?t need to know everything about behavioral health on day one. We?re looking for someone who is willing to learn, receptive to feedback, comfortable asking questions, and able to remain calm and professional when situations become challenging.

What You?ll Do

• Build professional, supportive relationships with clients while maintaining healthy boundaries.
• Share in the everyday moments that make residential treatment meaningful?from outings and activities to conversations, laughter, and connection within the community.
• Support clients in following treatment plans, daily routines, housing guidelines, and program expectations.
• Provide client supervision, engagement, individual support, and coaching throughout the shift.
• Facilitate structured activities, community meetings, and curriculum-based groups using materials developed by the clinical team.
• Observe client behavior, mood, interactions, and changes in presentation and communicate relevant information to the treatment team.
• Complete timely and accurate shift reports and other required documentation.
• Support clients with self-administration of medications in accordance with Anew procedures and training.
• Provide transportation to appointments, recovery meetings, outings, and other approved activities.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, room and safety checks, and other residential program needs.
• Respond appropriately to behavioral or emotional concerns and follow established safety and escalation procedures.
• Work collaboratively with clinical, healthcare, and residential team members to support client care.
• Participate in required meetings, supervision, and ongoing training.

What You?ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in behavioral health, mental health, residential treatment, caregiving, recovery services, or another human-services setting preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Comfortable completing clear and timely documentation.
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Successful completion of required background check and drug screening.
