SCHOOL-BASED SLP – 1099 CONTRACTORSarasota County Schools | Sarasota, FL | School-Year Position

Word Therapy, LLC is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide speech and language services in Sarasota County Schools .

What You'll Do

• Provide speech-language therapy to students in assigned schools.
• Conduct screenings and evaluations as needed.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies.
• Monitor student progress and maintain timely documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other professionals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and school-based team meetings as required.

Qualifications

✔ Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
✔ Current Florida SLP license or eligibility for Florida licensure
✔ CCC-SLP preferred/required as applicable
✔ Pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred
✔ Strong communication and organizational skills
✔ Reliable, professional, and passionate about working with children
