Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

Stillwater Skilled Nursing Facility Seeks Compassionate CMTsWe are seeking compassionate, motivated CMT's to support the care of our residents at Stillwater Skilled Nursing Facility. Applicants must have an active RIDOH CMT License. Successful candidates will be able to work with older population & maintain an environment of compassion with physical, emotional and other psychological support for both residents and their families.DutiesAccurately pour and endorse assistance with medication of each individualEnsure consistency between the physician prescriptions, blister packs and medications poured for each residentEnsure timely and accurate medication orders and medication renewalsReview medication refill log to compare with medication in storage cabinetsReview of "no-refill" orders in the refill log and faxing of requests to MDsReview of receipt, storage and documentation of medications deliveredCommunicate with the Medication Supervisor to clarify and ensure entitlements, prescriptions, and deliveriesMaintain medical and medication information on all residents in their designated fileReport residents who missed or refused medications to supervisor and case managementAttend all mandatory scheduled in-service training programsRequirementsMust have an active RI CNA and CMT licensePrevious experience and/or training as a Medtech is strongly preferredPost high school course work in medical services or college degree preferredAble to read, write, and communicate clearly in the English languageFamiliar with the needs of the infirm and the elderlyFull time and Part time roles are available!
