The responsibilities of Occupational Therapist include (but are not limited to):Evaluating a patient's condition and needsDeveloping treatment plans to address a patient's needs and help them meet specific goalsAssessing a patient's home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patient's needs and improve independenceTraining patients and their caregivers to use special equipmentAssessing and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting purposesQualifications:Doctorate or Master of Occupational Therapy is requiredCurrent CPR certificationOne (1) year experience in acute care, or out/in-patient setting preferredIowa State Occupational Therapy Licensure is requiredAdult therapy experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.Experience with general Pediatrics.Certified Lymphedema therapist is required.As an Occupational Therapist with our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where patient care is our top priority.
