Production Technician

Responsibilities Operating, maintaining, cleaning and troubleshooting proprietary production equipment. Recipe formulation, powder production and thermal post processing for a variety of powders materials/products. Wet chemistry-based synthesis of unique taggant materials. Consistent quality for long run material campaigns. Flexibility to shift between high volume manufacturing mind‑set and one‑off research & development (R&D) sample generation. Equipment maintenance and high operating efficiency while ensuring highest quality, safety, and security standards are observed. Assist in planning, synthesis, processing, and testing of products. Qualifications Teamwork: Able to work well with staff, co‑workers, peers and managers; shares critical information with everyone involved in a project; helps set a tone of cooperation within and across groups; seeks opinions; values working relationships; when appropriate, facilitates discussion before decision‑making process is complete. Problem Solving: Active participation and involvement in problem/solution activities. Attention to Detail: Follows detailed procedures and ensures accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitors gauges, instruments of process; ensures concentration on routine work details. Assoc. degree in a technical discipline preferred; or High School graduate with 2-4 years’ work experience. Strong motivation to learn and expand expertise. Ability to obtain Secret level clearance preferred. Work Information Location: Albuquerque, NM, United States Shift work required.
