Senior Data ScientistLocation: San Diego, CA – Remote Experience: 10+ YearsWe are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to translate business problems into analytical hypotheses and deliver data-driven insights and recommendations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in statistics, machine learning, experimentation, predictive analytics, and production model deployment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and test analytical hypotheses based on business requirements.Apply segmentation, causal inference, forecasting, propensity, uplift modeling, and experimentation techniques.Develop production-quality, version-controlled analytical code using Python/R and SQL.Partner with Data Engineers on features, data requirements, and data quality.Communicate analytical findings, confidence levels, assumptions, and recommendations.Define metrics and business logic for reporting and visualization.Review analytical work and mentor junior/client Data Scientists.Drive analytics best practices and technical excellence.Required Skills:10+ years of Data Science experience.Advanced Python and/or R and SQL.Strong statistics, mathematics, and machine learning background.Experience with predictive analytics and experimentation.Experience deploying analytical models into production.Strong analytical communication and stakeholder management skills.Healthcare, medical device, life sciences, or other regulated-industry experience preferred.
