Transportation Service Technician

Service Technician Desoto County Schools Service Technician (Parts, Shop, Tires, Lubrication and/or Bus Washing) is tasked to perform a variety of duties related to school bus fleet support. Demonstrate proficiency in assigned area (Parts, Shop, Tires, Lubrication and/or Bus Washing). Protect and maintain tools and equipment as furnished by DCS. Develop functional familiarity with DCS transportation operations. Serve as a substitute bus driver or bus driver's aide when needed. Respond to concerns from DCS personnel, parents, students, and the public. Work cooperatively with all DCS personnel. Comply with all DCS policies and procedures including the Mississippi Code of Ethics. Perform such other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor or superintendent. Maintain confidently and privacy of all Desoto County Schools' records. Ability to meet all qualifications of a DCS bus driver or bus aide. Ability to successfully accomplish assigned tasks. Desoto County Schools
