About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months in specialty License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand Certifications: American Red Cross BLS & PALS certifications required Must-Have: Experience in Tracheostomy, Ventilator, and central line care. Must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments required. Description: Registered Nurse in Pediatrics needed for a children’s rehabilitation unit. The role requires a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in pediatrics. Candidates must have experience with Tracheostomy, Ventilator, and central line care. A permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license is mandatory. Active certifications for BLS and PALS must be held at the time of application. Travelers will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required for continuation. References from a manager or supervisor in the specialty are required for submission. Candidates may not have any open background cases or license hits. All travelers except for nurses must be nicotine-free. A negative 10 panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required. Annual modules may be required, and completion is necessary for compliance. This role necessitates working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. The position includes caring for diverse patient diagnoses and age groups. Candidates will participate in special procedures and use specialized equipment.
