Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School Based

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide services within a school setting. The SLP is responsible for conducting student evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing direct therapy services, and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and individualized student needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to educational planning.

• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and district regulations.

Position Details

• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

• Contract Length: 39 weeks

• Start Date: September 8, 2026

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required based on state or contract requirements.

• Compliance with all professional standards of practice.

• Current CPR certification, if applicable.

• Current TB screening documentation, if applicable.

• Current health certificate, if required by contract or state regulations.

• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
