Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with common conditions like pneumonia, UTI, and GI bleed.
• Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-7 during day shifts.
• Administer and monitor set rate drips such as heparin, bumex, and lasix.
• Collaborate on a team with two charge nurses per day shift who also take patient assignments.
• Facilitate patient care and safety; including vitals, BGM, EKGs, and necessary monitoring.
• Support unit needs by being flexible with floating to alternate units as needed.

Qualifications

• Current BLS Certification and valid RN License.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical-Surgical setting.
• Ability to titrate drips with exceptions (cardiac drips excluded).
• Willing to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
• Experience working with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Open to flexible scheduling and fulfilling rotations within designated shifts.
