General Comments:

Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and Holidays in rotation with Hospital employees.

• Number of Beds – 8 Labor, 14 Postpartum, 3 EDOB and 2 OR
• Number of Staff – Labor Core Staffing 4, Postpartum Core Staffing 1 (varies with census)
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 1 CNC, 1 Triage, 2 RN, 1-2 OB Scrub Tech
  • Night Shift - 1 CNC, 1 Triage, 2 RN, 1 OB Scrub Tech
• Patient Ratios – Labor: 1-2:1, Postpartum: 3-4 couplets:1 RN
• Type of equipment – EFM, FSE, IUPC, SCDs, IV pumps, Medication scanning, Supply scanning
• EMR – CPN and Meditech

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring/C-EFM (for Labor and Delivery)
• Competence in cervical exams

• Cervical Exams
• FSE/IUPC placement
• Cesarean Sections (scheduled and emergent)
• Vaginal Deliveries
• Vacuum assisted deliveries
