Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Position Details: 7am-7pm rotational weekends

Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. Certifications:
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Surgical Trauma \"3A\" is a 33-bed unit, med-surg telemetry unit which focuses on adult post- operative and trauma patients. Nurse patient ratios are: Days 5:1, Nights 6:1. On our unit we offer you the opportunity to develop excellent critical thinking skills as well as use a wide variety of clinical skills including:
Head-to-toe assessments Reading and posting telemetry strips IV insertions Catheter, trach, and ostomy care Wound care Chest tubes
