About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ year License: Current RN License meeting eligibility criteria for state licensure Certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) Must-Have: 1+ year Telemetry experience, inpatient only Experience and competence in drug titration Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for all age groups. Performs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and established guidelines of nursing practice. Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Ensures patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Meets unit-specific physical demands and works varying schedules as required. Engages in activities that involve bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance. May require working different shifts based on patient care requirements. Recognizes potential exposure to blood and body fluids. Maintains duties and responsibilities consistent with established mission and values.
