Knowledge Specialist

Job Description The Knowledge Specialist provides a pivotal role in capturing, organizing, and disseminating knowledge related to various aspects of program solutions. This position requires technical expertise in solutions, user support and training, proficiency in data management and reporting, a focus on quality assurance and compliance, and strong collaboration and communication skills. Responsibilities Capture, organize, and maintain knowledge related to program solutions, technical expertise, user support, training materials, data management, reporting processes, SharePoint site administration, quality assurance protocols, and compliance requirements. Develop and update documentation, manuals, guides, and training materials to support users and stakeholders. Provide technical expertise and support to users, troubleshoot issues, and deliver training sessions as needed. Manage and maintain data repositories, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility. Conduct quality assurance checks on program solutions, documentation, and processes to ensure compliance with university standards and regulatory requirements. Foster a culture of collaboration and communication within the Program Solutions Administration team and across relevant stakeholders. Perform other job‑related duties as assigned. Key Skills and Abilities Proficiency in program solutions, technical systems, and tools relevant to higher education administration. Strong understanding of user support principles, training methodologies, and instructional design concepts. Experience in data management, reporting, and analysis using relevant software and platforms. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards and compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders. Problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges. Demonstrated experience in developing and refining educational programs, courses, and curricula within the higher education sector. Understanding of accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices related to program development and institutional compliance. Proven ability to design and assess curriculum effectiveness, learning outcomes, and student engagement strategies, particularly within a Competency‑based Education model. Knowledge of adult learning theories and principles, including instructional design methodologies tailored to adult learners in diverse academic settings. Ability to collaborate effectively with academic departments, faculty members, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to develop and deliver high‑quality educational programs. Strong project management skills, including the ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage project timelines, and ensure alignment with departmental goals and objectives. Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to inform program development decisions, assess program efficacy, and identify areas for continuous improvement. Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to articulate program objectives, outcomes, and value propositions to internal and external stakeholders. Willingness to explore innovative approaches to program development, incorporate emerging technologies, and adapt to evolving trends and student needs in higher education. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field. Experience with online learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and educational technologies used in online and hybrid learning environments. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in program solutions, data management, SharePoint administration, and user support/training. Familiarity with quality assurance processes and compliance standards in higher education. Salary Range: $49,800 - $74,600 (Grade: Professional 304). Travel: This position may require occasional travel of up to 20%, including attendance at company summits (one to two per year), conferences, visits to company locations, and other business-related events.
