A pharmacy in Fredericktown, OH is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide vacation coverage during specific dates throughout the year. This role requires a reliable and detail-oriented pharmacist to manage prescription processing and verification in a busy retail environment using PioneerRx software.

Location: Fredericktown, OH
Job Type: Per Diem
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Pharmacy hours 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, no lunch closure)
• Coverage needed for the following dates:
  • August 10 to August 14
  • September 14 to September 18
  • November 25

Responsibilities:

• Complete data entry and verification for over 200 prescriptions daily
• Conduct thorough prescription and product checks
• Answer phone calls professionally and assist patients and healthcare providers
• Receive, check in, and sign for controlled and narcotic drug deliveries
• Work closely with three full-time pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Note: This role does not include immunizations

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Ohio Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficient with PioneerRx software or similar pharmacy management systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high prescription volumes
