Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting. Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts according to physician specifications and/or orders. Assist the physician with the performance of various diagnostic and interventional procedures by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response, maintaining the sterile field, and interpreting and evaluating diagnostic data for the physician. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines. Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner. Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, with a patient‑focused, timely, compassionate, and quality approach. Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
