We have a delivery truck driver opening in Rochester, NY and are looking for the best to join our team.This is a physically demanding job with consistent heavy lifting in a non- climate controlled environment. Please only apply if you are comfortable working in those conditions.In this position you will :Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while strictly following Amarr's policies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections, log books, safe driving, etc.).Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times.Assist in the completion of production orders in warehouse when not driving.Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials).Unload and accurately receive incoming product.Requirements :Valid driver's license.Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.Warehouse duties performed in a non- climate controlled environment.Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.Successfully complete internal Driver Training ProgramMotor Vehicle report must meet Amarr's driver standardsMust be 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent.The Details:This position is Monday - Friday from 7am – 4pm, however flexibility is required in case early or late deliveries are needed. The pay rate is $ 22-27 / hr based on experience based on but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications.
