Paralegal

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys across various practice areas, including personal injury and property damage claims. This role involves legal research, document review, case management, and administrative support to ensure efficient legal operations. The Paralegal will play a vital role in managing case files, preparing legal documents, and assisting with client interviews and filings. Candidates with strong organizational skills and a comprehensive understanding of legal procedures will thrive in this position. Salary can range from $45,000-$60,000.00 - Commensurate with experience. Pay: $40,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year Location Fort Worth, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required) In person Job Type Full-time Schedule 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Responsibilities Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, and correspondence. Manage legal case files using document management systems like CloudLex and Microsoft products. Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy and compliance; perform proofreading and transcription as needed. Support litigation processes through document review, discovery preparation, and case organization. Conduct client interviews and gather pertinent information for case preparation. Organize and maintain case calendars; track deadlines and court dates to ensure timely filings. Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and general clerical tasks to facilitate smooth office operations. Assist with project management tasks related to ongoing cases or legal initiatives. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to firm policies. Skills Strong legal drafting skills with attention to detail; excellent proofreading abilities. Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analyze complex information efficiently. Familiarity with document review processes and contract management. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills including professional phone etiquette. Administrative experience supporting a busy law office environment; proficiency in data entry, filing systems, document management systems, transcription services. Project management capabilities to coordinate tasks across different cases or practice areas. Strong writing skills for preparing reports or summaries of legal findings.
