Overview The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies, ensuring professional growth, accountability, and adherence to practice standards while coordinating care among staff. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor's degree preferred). No experience required; hospital experience is a plus. Current Georgia RN license and BCLS certification. Relevant specialty certifications as applicable. Additional certifications may be required based on the unit (ACLS, PALS, NRP, or chemotherapy certification) with specific training timelines.
