Lead Android Mobile Engineer

Position Title: Lead Android Mobile Engineer
Location: Remote 100%
Duration: 6 Months contract
Interview: 2 Rounds
Seeking a Lead Android Mobile Engineer with strong native Android development experience to design, develop, and optimize high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have expert-level Kotlin , Jetpack Compose , Android architecture, API integration, and CI/CD experience.
Must-Haves- 8+ years of overall software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of native Android development .
- Expert-level Kotlin experience.
- Strong Jetpack Compose / Android UI experience.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow .
- Experience with MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture , or similar patterns.
- Experience integrating REST APIs / GraphQL and cloud services.
- Strong experience with Git, CI/CD, Agile , and automated deployments.
- Knowledge of mobile performance optimization and secure application development.
Retrofit, Firebase, GitHub, Azure DevOps/Jira, Crashlytics, Feature Management Platforms.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
