UVA Health Hiring Family Nurse Practitioners in Culpeper, VA

UVA Community Health is excited to announce the opening of Family Medicine and Same Day Care Dominion in Culpeper, Virginia. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioners to join us in building a practice that will provide exceptional care to the Culpeper community.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Culpeper, VA
• Schedule: 8 AM- 5 PM- Potential for a late night
• Coverage: Shared rotation for evenings and weekends
• Volume: 16-20 patients per day
• Systems: EPIC EMR

Daily Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including history, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment plans.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold safety and infection control standards.
• Deliver superior communication and customer service to patients, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
• Experience: Minimum 1-3 years in a physician practice or urgent care setting.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current NP license in Virginia
  • Active DEA registration
• Board Certification: Family Medicine
