RN - ED

RN - Emergency Department (ED)

Pay: $50/hr Shift: 12-Hour Nights

Duties

• Provide independent nursing care and perform delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor changes in health status.
• Provide patient education and health counseling.
• Administer treatments and therapies to stabilize and support patients.
• Execute delegated medical functions and coordinate patient care.
• Refer patients for additional evaluation or treatment when necessary.
• Review and monitor treatment plans and patient progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Utilize available resources to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Support the organization's mission, vision, values, and service standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Float to other departments within product of competency based on operational needs.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Requirements

Experience

• Previous Registered Nurse experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform all essential nursing duties in an Emergency Department setting.

License

• Active RN License (State-specific or Compact, as applicable).

• Excellent communication and patient care abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Proficient in documentation and multidisciplinary collaboration.
