Registered Nurse PACU

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in PACU. This role involves providing care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The position requires excellent assessment and critical thinking skills. Nurses will work in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 2:1. Responsibilities will include monitoring patient vitals, managing pain, and ensuring safety. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will be essential for optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional with strong clinical judgment. Flexibility to float between preoperative and PACU areas may be required. This position includes on-call responsibilities as needed. Candidates must have the ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Previous experience within a PACU setting is highly desirable. Flu vaccination is required, with allowances for medical or religious exemptions. Preferred certifications include AHA accepted credentials.
