Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist position in Lubbock, Texas at a Pediatric Trauma Center. This role involves performing radiation therapy treatments using advanced modalities such as Gamma Knife, Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), and stereotactic procedures. The therapist will rotate among various treatment types within a robust oncology program to deliver safe and effective patient care.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Two years of experience as a Radiation Therapist, ARRT R certification, BLS certification, and Texas licensure or valid Compact license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult outpatient care, intra-cavity/interstitial administration, and utilization of Elekta Infinity and VersaHD linear accelerators.
• Additional Information: The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, supporting complex radiation treatments including brachytherapy, external beam radiotherapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery. The department uses Elekta Mosaiq Record and Verify System integrated with Epic electronic medical records. The treatment modalities include Gamma Knife and various advanced radiotherapy techniques. The candidate will be required to assist with intracavity/interstitial procedures, patient safety protocols, and patient/family education.
