TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Bowling Green, Kentucky, 42104!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Must-Have: Critical thinking, self-motivated Description: The unit has a total of 16 beds. Patient ratios are typically 2:1, with occasional 3:1. Staffing includes unit secretaries and techs, depending on census. Available equipment includes Impella, GE monitors, temporary pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Arctic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring. Documentation system used is Meditech. Staff are required to work 36 hours weekly. Floating is in rotation with core staffing. The unit performs central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions. A positive work environment encourages teamwork and flexibility with scheduling. Staff have access to mixed levels of experience across day and night shifts. The department has received awards for its compassionate care and outstanding achievements. Additional recognition includes creating blankets for hospice patients and implementing the Daisy Award.
