Opportunity for passionate special education professionals to make a meaningful impact in elementary settings near Peoria, AZ! Full-time contract roles are available for talented educators dedicated to supporting students with a range of abilities. Several positions are currently open: a Kindergarten Autism program, a 2nd Grade Autism program (both self-contained, with students typically functioning in the moderate intellectual range), and a Special Needs Preschool classroom. For the preschool role, preference is given to those with both Early Childhood and Special Education certifications, though candidates with strong SPED certification and early childhood experience will also be considered.

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Educator Certification required
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card mandatory
• Experience working with students with developmental and intellectual disabilities preferred
• Early Childhood Special Education certification or experience highly valued for the preschool role
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learner needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
• Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families for student success
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as necessary
• Participate in meetings and contribute to a supportive school community
• Deliver onsite services in accordance with each program’s requirements
