Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients, families, and visitors in a professional, courteous, and culturally sensitive manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions related to appointments, wait times, and clinic processes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinical staff regarding patient arrivals, delays, and workflow.
• Assist in maintaining efficient patient flow and notify leadership of prolonged wait times.
• Support customer service recovery by addressing patient concerns promptly.
• Coordinate translation services when needed.
• Participate in clinic and staff meetings and complete required training.
• Notify licensed staff or supervisors when unable to complete assigned responsibilities.
• Support high-volume flu vaccination events at multiple clinic locations.

Required Skills

• Experience in a Pediatric Medical Assistant or similar clinical role.
• Knowledge of patient care procedures, medical terminology, appointment scheduling, and customer service.
• Proficient with EMR systems, computers, and standard medical office equipment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Spanish/English bilingual preferred.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
• Must be flexible to support flu vaccination events, including occasional 5:30 AM start times.

Work Setting

• 100% Onsite
• Primary location at the Medical Center Campus, with travel to regional clinic locations including The Woodlands and Katy as needed.
