Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Representative to join our growing Property Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing resident and owner accounts, processing payments, monitoring receivables, and providing exceptional customer service. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day to day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Process and post payments accurately and timely, including lockbox, ACH, and online payment transactions
- Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
- Maintain accurate resident account records within management software systems
- Process monthly billing statements
- Process and post monthly late fees
- Respond professionally to resident and client inquiries (calls, emails, letters) regarding account balances and billing.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial and resident information
Qualifications
- Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in Property Management, HOA, Condominium, or Real Estate industries
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and receivables processes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling common charges, maintenance billing, or HOA assessments
- Experience working with Condominiums, Cooperatives, and Homeowner Associations.
- Desire to grow within an organization.
