Patient Transporter
The Patient Transporter is an integral part of the patient care team providing prompt courteous customer-focused service to the patients, visitors, and coworkers of Boston Medical Center. The Patient Transporter is responsible for patient transport within the hospital and for miscellaneous functions as well. He/she contributes to service excellence by fostering collaboration among and between team members as well as other ancillary departments.
Schedule: Part Time 24 hours Days Thursday Friday Saturday 7am-3:30pm
Job Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Experience: 6-12 months of customer service or hospital experience
- Certificates Licenses Registrations Required: CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Knowledge and Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Ability to lift without any limitations
Compensation Range: $17.92-$26.63
This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
