Responsibilities: Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently Process and verify prescription orders, including data entry into pharmacy management systems Handle patient intake, answer phones, and provide excellent customer service at the counter Manage insurance billing, prior authorizations, and resolve claim rejections Maintain and organize pharmacy inventory, including receiving and stocking medications Prepare and package medications while adhering to safety and compliance standards Support a clean, organized, and HIPAA-compliant pharmacy environment Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Active Connecticut Pharmacy Technician registration or ability to obtain one PTCB (CPhT) certification preferred but not required Prior retail pharmacy or healthcare experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficiency with pharmacy software and basic computer skills About Us: Amity Pharmacy is a trusted, community-focused pharmacy serving the residents of Woodbridge, CT and the surrounding area.
