Read below for more information!Coordinate and delegate department activities to ensure that department and company production is met in a timely mannerEnsure quality, safety, and company standards are always enforcedEnsure product is being produced following the product specificationResponsible for ensuring that the correct inventory of supplies is present for the required jobs to be performedInvestigate and report all incidents to the Supervisor/Manager of the department (spills, accidents, poor performance, etc.)Meet with the Department Manager or representatives of the previous shift daily to review work status and determine an action planMust be able and willing to assume responsibility when the supervisor is absentTrain new employees and coach existing employeesMaintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work areaParticipate in the GFSI/FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actionsHigh School Diploma or GED1+ years of related experienceProven ability to read, write and communicate in the English languageBasic math skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong data entry skillsMust be articulate, tactful, and professionalExcellent interpersonal and discretionary skillsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
