QUALITY MANAGER

Job Summary Join our client, a parts manufacturer in the Aerospace industry as a Quality Manager. You'll manage a small team of quality professionals including engineers and inspectors to drive the QMS. Must have the ability to read blueprints, ensure parts meet specifications, and evaluate new part processes. Benefits PTO, Healthcare Details Location: Berlin, Connecticut Job Type: Permanent Salary: $120,000 - 140,000 per year Work Hours: 8am to 4pm Education: Bachelors Responsibilities Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), create control plans, and manage First Article Inspections (FAI) to validate new production processes. Ensure the facility maintains adherence to stringent standards like AS9100 through continuous Quality Management System (QMS) execution and regular internal/customer audits. Investigate non-conforming parts or processes using methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean to identify root causes and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Verify part integrity through precision measurement techniques, Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) programming.
