Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time

$30–$34/hour | Full-Time | Benefits

Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Medford Multicare. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a PTA who enjoys working directly with residents to improve mobility, build strength, and support greater independence throughout the rehabilitation process.

What You'll Do

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, transfers, strengthening, and mobility activities
• Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT
• Monitor resident response to therapy and communicate progress or changes to the PT
• Reinforce safe movement techniques and therapeutic strategies
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare professionals to support resident goals

Qualifications

• Active New York Physical Therapist Assistant license required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to providing quality, resident-centered care
• Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
• New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply
