Benefits Flexible schedule Free uniforms Perks Join a fun, energetic, and professional team that loves what they do Coaching and mentoring children to make a lasting impact on their lives Part‑time or full‑time schedule flexibility Seasonal positions available Role & Schedule Camp coach with an athletic or coaching background; experience with summer camps or coaching children aged 4‑9 preferred Deliver the KidStrong curriculum focused on brain, physical, and character development Communicate with parents/guardians about any incidents that occur during camp Camps run when school is out, 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (may vary by location); availability during these hours required Opportunity to increase hours through private party coaching and KidStrong class coaching (may require additional training) Coach Responsibilities Manage camps with up to 20 children aged 4‑11 Teach the KidStrong curriculum as directed by the HQ programming team Ensure camps start and end on schedule and maintain proper pacing Welcome students and their parents/guardians upon arrival Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor Demonstrate and manage various exercises, ensuring proper technique and safety Keep accurate attendance records at all times Clean and maintain the center, including lobby, bathrooms, floors, trash, and equipment; sanitize mats at shift end Use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide attendance and awards reports to parents Communicate professionally with co‑workers via Slack and other messaging systems Complete required training through LearnUpon, as directed by the HQ Training and Certification team Work in a physically intensive environment, moving equipment up to 25 pounds and covering multiple miles per shift Provide hands‑on instruction to ensure proper technique and student safety Attend mandatory staff meetings as required by the KidStrong Director Obtain camp‑certified status from the HQ Training and Certification team Ensure the well‑being of all children through supervision, safety, and program implementation Job Qualifications Passion for working with children is non‑negotiable Prior coaching experience with the appropriate KidStrong age group preferred Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics preferred CPR certification required Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills Self‑starter who gets the job done Comfortable in a spotlight position (lead an activity or present to parents) Compensation: $100.00 per day Our People Work with great people who share your passion Opportunity for personal and professional growth Make a meaningful impact on children’s lives KidStrong is a private child development training center focused on brain, physical & character development for kids up to 11 years old.
