General Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 6am to 2:30pm.

Working knowledge carpentry, doors: interior and exterior, painting, Snow removal is required.

Pay $20.00 an hour: The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, instrumentation, and other equipment, systems or structures
• Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities
• Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific environments.
• A valid State Drivers License is required.
• Basic knowledge of proper use of power tools, hand tools.
• Recognize various hardware parts and methods of repair for related tasks.
• Must possess organizational skills.
• Must be able to perform unsupervised.
• Customer Service Experience
• 1 yr of similar work experience
