DentistDepartment: DentalProgram: Health SystemsReports to: Clinical Dental DirectorEmployment Status: Full TimeFLSA Status: ExemptSchedule: 40 Hours/52 WeeksPreference: TERO Ordinance 2017-01, P.L. 93-638Job SummaryPerforms restorative, prosthodontic, surgical, endodontic, interceptive orthodontic and periodontal treatment as provided in general dentistry.Essential FunctionsEducating patients on oral health careExamine teeth and diagnose patients' dental conditions using X-raysAssessing treatment options and agreeing on treatment plans with patientsCarrying out agreed dental treatments, such as restoring teeth affected by decay, crown and bridge work, etc.,Maintaining patients' dental recordsAdhere to the Tribe's policies and proceduresEnsures compliance with Tribal, Federal, State and Local employment laws and regulations, Tribal policies and TERO ordinanceIt is the intent of this job description to highlight the essential functions of the position; however, it is not an all-inclusive list.
