Job Title

Registered Nurse – NICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
• Monitor and assess neonatal patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Support and implement infant-driven feeding protocols in accordance with unit standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
• Float within scope of practice to support unit staffing needs as required
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements per the scheduling period (3 weekends per 6-week scheduling cycle)

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia (must be in hand prior to start date)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may be submitted as pending)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
• Familiarity with neonatal specialty-specific clinical modules and competencies
