Job Title: Assembler Job Description

This role focuses on assembling mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You use hand, power, and hydraulic tools to build and install parts according to work instructions, blueprints, or manuals. Success in this position requires accurate measurement skills, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and the flexibility to train and work in multiple areas on the production line.

• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assembly tasks using hand, power, and hydraulic tools.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and manuals to assemble components accurately and safely.
• Use tape measures with both metric and imperial units and perform basic conversions to ensure precise measurements.
• Inspect parts and assemblies during and after installation to confirm they meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in a large manufacturing environment, even in dark, dusty, or dirty conditions.
• Stand for extended periods (75% of the time or more) while performing assembly and related tasks on concrete floors.
• Use required personal protective equipment, including metatarsal steel-toe footwear, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
• Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and trainers and apply feedback to improve performance.
• Train in multiple production areas as needed to support workflow and meet production goals.
• Work 10-hour shifts on days or nights and be available for overtime on Fridays as production demands.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet production targets and support continuous improvement.

• Minimum of 6 months of prior assembly experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and practical experience using hand tools, power tools, and hydraulic tools for assembly work.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or manuals to perform assembly tasks correctly.
• Proficiency using tape measures with both metric and imperial units and performing unit conversions.
• Comfort working in a large manufacturing facility and adapting to different areas and tasks.
• Strong ability to follow instructions, accept feedback, and apply guidance consistently.
• Reliability and consistent attendance to support production schedules and team performance.
• Physical ability to stand for at least 75% of the shift on concrete floors and work in dark, musky, and dirty areas.
• Commitment to following all safety rules and using required personal protective equipment.

• No high school diploma or GED required for consideration.
• Prior experience in mechanical assembly, hydraulic assembly, or electrical assembly is highly beneficial.
• Ability and willingness to train in multiple production areas and learn new skills over time.
• Comfort working 10-hour shifts on either first or second shift with overtime opportunities on Fridays.
• Positive attitude toward working in a structured, instruction-driven environment.
• Interest in pursuing paid training for higher certifications and internal advancement opportunities.

You work in a large manufacturing facility that can be dark, musky, and dirty in some areas, with concrete floors throughout. The role requires standing for at least 75% of your shift while performing assembly tasks. Metatarsal steel-toe footwear is required, and safety glasses and hearing protection are mandatory and provided. All tools and necessary equipment are supplied on-site. Typical attire includes jeans with a t-shirt or sweatshirt; shorts and sweatpants are not allowed. Shifts run 10 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, with first shift from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and second shift from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., and overtime is commonly available on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shady Grove, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Shady Grove,PA.
