Job Title: Locum Physician - Interventional Radiology

• Provide hospital coverage for radiology, including Interventional Radiology (IR) needs, stroke CTs, and various procedures.
• Oversee outpatient services in Building 4, including contrasted CTs, MRIs, and breast biopsies.
• Perform required procedures such as lumbar punctures, barium studies, CT/US biopsies, and various centesis exams.
• Manage IR procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy tubes, abscess drainage, chest tubes, and suprapubic catheters.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging studies, maintaining quality patient care and safety.
• Collaborate with diagnostic imaging staff for seamless patient workflow.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
• Completion of residency in Radiology is required.
• Experience with acute care imaging, including stroke CTs and ED/ICU studies.
• Strong procedural skills, particularly in IR.
• Ability to manage a high volume of studies and procedures efficiently.

• Current California state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• DEA certification required during credentialing.
• CA Fluoroscopy certification required at submission.
• Clean malpractice history preferred.
