Process Improvement Engineer – Greater Rockford Area The TRG Growth Practice is partnering with a global manufacturer to identify a Process Improvement Engineer to lead quality problem‑solving strategy and continuous improvement tool usage across two high‑impact sites near their midwestern hub. This role offers substantial upside and growth within a rapidly expanding division. This is a highly visible role within a business unit experiencing significant growth and investment. The successful candidate will work closely with plant leadership to improve processes, eliminate inefficiencies, solve complex manufacturing challenges, and support long‑term operational performance. Desired Qualifications & Experience 3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred. Experience within manufacturing engineering, quality, operations, continuous improvement, or a related manufacturing environment. Strong problem‑solving mindset with a natural curiosity and desire to improve processes. Experience utilizing structured problem‑solving methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, Kaizen, PDCA, or similar continuous improvement tools. Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams.
