CAGE CASHIER I

Graton Resort & Casino Cashier

Responsible for logging Title 31 compliance. Safeguard company assets. Provide guest service to external and internal guests. Accurately handles guest exchanges for chips/cash equivalents for cash, cash checks within established procedures and all other associated cage functions and cooperates with team members within the department, as well as other departments.

Essential functions include redefining hospitality, performing responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, taking appropriate measures to safeguard the company's assets, ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed and balanced at the close of business, attending to guest needs and ensuring overall guest satisfaction, responsible for the final balancing of funds and assets assigned during a shift, working front line, fill bank, employee bank, kiosk bank, main bank as assigned, efficiently operating all equipment, hardware and software used in job functions, conducting e-check, cash advance, chip, cash exchange, ticket redemption, kiosk redemption, promotional payout, resort wallet deposit and withdrawals, fast funds payment, and fee reimbursement transactions, performing enrollment processes for E-check, Cashless Gaming, and Slot Credit transactions, operating all cage currency counters, following all double/verification guidelines and thresholds including notification of surveillance when applicable, and working with other departments, including kiosk team, as required to ensure operations run smoothly throughout the shift.

Required qualifications include the ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management in both written and verbal form, must be at least 21 years of age, maintain professional demeanor in fast-paced environment, have analytical, organizational, and time management skills, be detail oriented, have the ability to perform data entry in computer applications, perform basic math calculations without the use of a calculator, and be flexible with daily responsibilities and work schedule; able to work holidays, weekends and an 8-hour shift.

Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Physical requirements include the ability to accurately distinguish color, letters, numbers, and symbols visually, perform repetitive bending movements, perform repetitive kneeling, perform repetitive reaching, lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, stand for duration of shift, perform constant wrist and arm movements related to typing and extended computer use, view computer screens throughout shift, push carts filled with chips, cash and coin, and pull carts filled with chips, cash and coin.

Work conditions include work in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second hand smoke, work in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access, tasks performed from a sitting or non? sitting position, performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping, work may entail trained chemical usage, and constant contact with fellow team members and guests.
