Behavioral Health Therapist– English/Spanish Bilingual– Full‑Time Make an impact as a Behavioral Health Therapist. This full‑time permanent position is for a bilingual therapist working with a local non‑profit organization providing affordable, accessible health care services in the North Metro area. Schedule and Location Full‑time, 32‑40 hours per week (flexible scheduling, no billable hour requirement). Hybrid role: primarily at Coon Rapids/Minneapolis clinics with occasional telehealth from home as caseload permits. Salary: $72,800–$83,000 depending on experience, plus a $5,000 sign‑on bonus. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Position Summary An LICSW, LPCC, or LMFT will serve a group of non‑profit primary care clinics in North and Northeast Minneapolis and the northern suburbs. The therapist will work with children ages 6‑12 and their families, providing diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and outpatient therapy in both Spanish and English. The therapist will collaborate with a small team of four therapy providers and one telehealth provider, as well as the medical director and other health care professionals (MDs, NPs, RNs, PAs, CNMs, MAs, LADC). Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each child’s emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as needed. Provide telehealth support as needed. Participate in team meetings, case consultations, supervision, and trainings as required. Adhere to ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and professional best practices. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency, state, and federal requirements. Perform all other tasks as assigned. Qualifications LISCW, LPCC, or LMFT licensed in Minnesota. Master’s degree or higher in psychology, counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy. Minimum of two years experience in direct patient care; experience in a primary care setting is preferred. Bilingual (fluent) in English and Spanish. Experience providing assessment and therapy to children ages 6–12 with age‑appropriate, developmentally sensitive approaches. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail; comfortable with computers and documentation. Knowledge of assessments, planning, implementation, and care coordination in mental health. Ability to diagnose patient conditions, interpret findings from clinical evaluations/tests, and conduct risk assessment/intervention. Demonstrated competence in independent clinical practice; works well individually and within a small team. Reliable transportation for commuting between clinical locations.
